I love rideshare

Not only is it a money saving venture, it's entertaining and educational. Today's topic was the Prostate Gland. What is it's purpose?? After some discussion, of which I think "G" should have known the answer since he has one and the rest of us don't, I was assigned the homework project of looking this up. Of course I couldn't wait to get home so I looked it up immediately.

The conversation reminded me of a guy I used to work with at Be@n's. His name was Wally and he was always misspeaking or mispronouncing words. He worked at one building and I worked in another and we shared employees. So we were in communication quite often to move people around. One day he called and told me he was "short two-handed people". Bawahahaha.

We called them Wally-isms.

Back in 1997-1998 or somewhere near that time there was a guy who's foot had been amputated and he had a prosthetic limb. He was the first person to reach the top of Mt Everest with a prosthetic limb. Wally was so excited about this news that he exclaimed "did you hear about the guy who climbed Everest with a prostate?"

I used to work with this guy who had immigrated from Cuba as a child and he had the English language down pretty pat but he would sometimes fuck things up a tad. He would say "that beats the cake" and we'd always say, "takes the cake, Paz, you can't beat a fucking cake."
