New driveway

What should have happened did and so didn't what shouldn't have happened.

This is during and how it was supposed to go.


This is also during and what shouldn't have happened. The gate on the dump truck broke and dumped most of the load in one spot. About 14 yards of recycled tar landed at a most inopportune area of the driveway. (the pile was actually much bigger than it looks here) I was planning on this being a manual labor job but with the dump truck doing most of the labor. But you know the law of Boo and Murphy, what can go wrong usually does and in spades.

It was quick recovery though and with the help of a borrowed tractor, here is the end results:
