Red Sox- World Champions

I'm so totally thrilled that "my boys" did me proud and swept the Rockies. I do feel a little bad for the rockies though. The series really isn't indicative of how they have played. Oh well. Sux being them. *snicker* So much has been written about the Sox so I have nothing to add except that I am happy and I REALLY HOPE THEY DON'T SIGN GAY-ROD.

Sam had a Halloween party at his house on Sat night. Several friends and their kids came over. It was a great time but totally awful in regards to the advice the cardiologistgave me on Fri. There was no light eating. Nope, chips, dip, pizza, cupcakes, cookies, carrots, chop suey, meatballs. The only thing I was able to salvage was that I took specific portions and stuck to them.

The party was a good time.

Shelby obviously can't run with the big dogs. She was exhausted and slept for a couple of hours during the party.

My mom and stepdad lost their baby over the weekend. There was never a cat so pampered as Kit. She was well loved and returned it a million fold. She was such a funny personality. She never thought of herself as a cat and we sometimes would forget that too. Godspeed Kit, you are already missed beyond reason.
