There really is nothing like it. I didn't say it is better than an 80 degree day at OOB but it certainly is a pretty wonderful way to relax in early Jan.
Sam and I took Sarah and 2 of her friends to swim last night. There is a hotel about a half hour from here that opens their pool and hot tub to the public (for a minimal fee). It is a great change of pace. We swam and relaxed for about 2 hours before heading home for a long winter's nap.
The temp hovered around 34 all day. Any day above freezing is a good day.

All that snow is beautiful...unless of course you have to drive around in it! Here in Ohio we are having temps in the 50s'! WTH?!
